New beginnings...

A new year has begun, new things are happening, I´m excited :)

I´ve started studying at MF, a Christian university in Oslo. The plan is to do a year of RLE (religion, worldviews and ethics) and incorporate that into a teaching degree. But knowing me that plan could change. ;) So far I´m enjoying being new at this small university, studying the bible and church history again, and learning about eastern religions.

Another bit of news is that I´m putting together a new band this year, bringing in el-guitar and piano. We´re going to do some songs off the album, and arrange some new ones. Creativity is blooming again which is delightful!!

One of my newest songs is called first love and is inspired by C.S.Llewis´ view on longings...

Every desire I feel echoes my need of you

That´s what I want 2010 to be marked by! I want to seek God; find out more about Him - like on a date ;) ...I want to fear him not people; He will after all have the final say. I want to trust Him. That state of mind is ultimately where I have and will find deepest satisfaction. Letting desires after other things crowd my mind and stear my choices is not what I want.

How great is Your goodness,
